For Grace's birthday we decided to not do anything over the top. She is only 2 and right now anything other than a family get together would be over the top right now. Plus, let's face it... she's not going to remember it and would be overwhelmed by something crazy! So we brought some stuff for grilling over to my Mom's place and we grilled out, ate cake and ice cream and Grace opened her gifts. It was a really nice day!
