I'm a super star!

Me and my friend Whitney were interviewed by our friend Connie's reporter friend for an article in the AZ Republic. She wanted to interview us about our book club and why we love the Twilight saga. This article along with a picture of our group of friends appeared in the paper Thursday, August 21st. We were really excited! Here is a link to the article!

L.A. Trip

Me and five of my friends went to L.A. for a couple days to attend the Stephenie Meyer, Blue October concert! We had so much fun! We were supposed to stay at the Hollywood Hills Hotel but when we got there they said they had made our reservations for the night before and thought we were no shows. My friend Mox explained to them that she is a travel agent and that we were there for one night to attend a concert and she did not mess up our reservation date. The manager said they were totally booked, so he called around to find us another place to stay. They ended up putting us in the executive suite at the Renaissance Hotel! We paid the same price we would have at the HHH and they ate the difference. It was a room that normally ran $425 a night! So it was really nice and there was more than enough room for us!

The concert was fantastic! Stephenie answered some questions about the book and we were a little upset that they were questions she had already answered at a previous concert, which we had read the transcripts to, but there were some new ones as well. Justin Furstenfeld was AWESOME! When he played Hate Me it brought me to tears! So amazing!

The next day we went to the Groves and at brunch and shopped around before heading home. It was a great time and we had so much fun!

We were excited to see Catherine Hardwicke the producer of the Twilight movie at the concert. You can't make it out too well, but I got the back of her head!

Breaking Dawn Slumber Party

August 2nd the latest book in the Twilight saga was released. Me and several of my book club friends went to dinner, then went to the prom party at Barnes and Noble, got our books at midnight, and then went to our friend Mox's house for the night and read all night long! I'm still amazed I was able to stay awake all night! Granted I had several cokes and cups of coffee but still! I thought I was too old for such things! We had a great time and the book was fantastic!

Family Vacation

The last week in July we took our family vacation and went to San Diego. We had a great time. Enjoyed time on the beach and took the kids to the zoo, and spent a day on Coronodo Island. We had a really nice time and as always it was really hard to come home! Here are a few of our favorite pictures of the TONS we took!

Our little cuties in their bikinis

The girls LOVED the water! Especially when Daddy would take them down to play! I'll admit, Mommy was a wimp! The water was COLD!

We LOVE kisses!

Hannah and Gracie in their super cute tanks a friend made! SOOOO cute! Pamperedtots.com! Check out her site! Adorable stuff!

Me and the girls checking out the elephants. At one point one of them started peeing and Hannah said, "I REALLY did NOT need to see that".

One of our favorite animals of the day. The polar bear was putting on a show for us. It was so neat and the girls loved it.

Cute Panda bear

Hannah and Grace on the patio at Hotel Del Coronodo. We ate lunch there together. It was very windy that day!

This picture fits Grace's personality perfectly! She is so cute, and funny, laid back and always performing for us!

Great picture of Daddy and the girls!
