Easter

We had a nice Easter Sunday, we all went out to eat at Charlestons and then spent a few hours at the park. We had a really nice time and were just happy to all be together.

Jake trying to fly the Mickey kite. He tried and tried but it never got up. It was plenty windy too! I admit to giggling a lot while I was watching him try! HA!

I love this picture of Jake with Grace. It captures just how much she delights him and how much he treasures her. It shows all in his smile

I took this after we got home at the end of the day. We had a full day and Grace was exhausted!

New Haircut

What is it about a new haircut that just makes you feel so happy? I went and got mine done because it had grown out a lot and decided to go short again. I really love it and just felt really... sassy and pretty afterwards. I do a pretty good job replicating it, although it never looks as great as when the hairdresser does it :) I love it though!

Project Book Babe

A bunch of authors got together to help support a friend of theirs that was diagnosed with breast cancer. The "book babe" is a friend and book distributor for all of them and they sold tickets to a panel discussion, raffle and auction to help raise money for their friend. I went with some friends and we had a great time. A few of us met for sushi ahead of time and then met up with the other gals. The auction was crazy! Lunch with Stephenie Meyer went for $6500!!! They raised a lot of money and it was a fun event.

Grace's First Movie

We took Grace to see her very first movie at the theatre. She LOVED it! The movie was Monsters vs. Aliens and she was just mesmerized by the whole experience. The popcorn, candy and how huge the screen was. She sat on my lap the whole time because she is still too little to hold down the flippable seat on her own. We had a great time! We are already thinking we may go see the movie UP next.

Grace had PJ day at daycare that day so she's sporting her Camp Rock pj's.

Cousin Fun

One morning, my Mom, sister and me met at the mall to drink some coffee and just walk around and spend some time together before we left to do our individual errands. We brought the kids to the play area and just watched them play for a while. They had a lot of fun!

One year of fun...

One year ago on March 21st was the first gathering that I attended to meet women called Twilight Moms. All of us we knew had one thing in common, which was the love of a book series. One year later, we of course have found out that we have many more things in common and many of us have become great friends. We had a party to celebrate our one year friendaversary. We had some great Italian food catered in, had some great conversation, a picture video of the last year and ended it by watching the Twilight DVD together. Oh, and we also had a special visitor and all of us got our picture taken with him. We all had a great time, and I will be forever grateful that I met these wonderful women.

Twilight DVD Party

When the Twilight DVD came out on March 21st, Melinda and I went to a release party at Hot Topic. The DVD was released at midnight and ahead of time, we did fun things like take our picture with "Edward", played Trivia, checked out all the fun merchandise, and basically just amused ourselves at our own wittiness. We had fun, and were super excited to get our DVD's!!!!!
