HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3

I took a few hours personal time on Friday because Hannah had early release from school, then picked her up and spend some "Mommy/Hannah time" together. I took Hannah to see High School Musical 3, then we went to Claires and bought her a new Troy necklace, some HSM lipgloss and arm warmers that according to Hannah, "totally rock". Then we went to Target and got her the HSM3 soundtrack. We had a great time! We don't often get one on one time, so we made the most of it! Here are some pictures from our time together.

After the movie Hannah wanted to get her picture taken with the cut outs of the cast. There were lots of people there and she was too shy to do it by herself at first... so being a good Mom, I got someone to take both of our picture together.

Then Hannah decided to forget about everyone else and posed alone!

Channel 12 news was at the theatre as we came out broadcasting all the screaming girls excited about the movie. I told Hannah to jump in, but she said "no way!"

Lauren and I went to a Halloween party. We had so much fun getting dressed up! We laughed and laughed! We seriously amused ourselves!

Look up in the sky... is it a bird?.... is it a plane?.... NO!... It's SUPER GRACIE... and her sidekick.... SUPER HANNAH!

We were at my Mom's the other night and somehow Grace decided she needed a cape on. When Hannah saw this she thought she should join in the fun. They pretended to fly around for a while. It was rather entertaining!

Hannah has been best friends with Miley since they were in Pre-K together. Recently, Miley started going to a new and different school than Hannah. Hannah has spent quite a few times in tears because she misses Miley so much and speaks of her all the time, so Miley's Mom Sommer and I decided a play date was in order! We met at the mall and the girls had a blast! They played in the play area, we bought them best friends necklaces, they got manicures and pedicures, rode the merry-go-round and ate at Chik-fil-A. They had a blast and we plan on getting them together again soon! Thanks Sommer and Miley for meeting us!

They ran around in the play area and climbed, sang songs, and did their little clap cheer things, and there was lots of giggling.
I told them both to smile for the picture and they gave me "peace" signs. Too funny!

The girls had to have everything the same! They chose pink for their fingernails and purple for their toes. They had Halloween stickers put on, all of which had to be the same too!

And finally, they both had to get gum balls and ended up with the same color which they thought was "totally cool". It does seem perfect! They are the perfect little friends!

Lauren's Baptism

Lauren was baptized on Saturday and we were all there to support her. Afterwards, we went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory.

Fun Day!

Saturday Jake and I took the girls out to breakfast and then went to the park for the morning. They played on the playground, fed the ducks, played ball with Daddy and had a blast! Afterwards, we took the girls to get their Halloween costumes! I'll let the pictures tell the story!

Hannah held this up and said VERY LOUDLY... "Mommy, this is what Daddy's hairy chest looks like!" LOL! Everyone around us cracked up! It was pretty darn funny! And no... it doesn't look like that... much.

And what costumes did the girls pick out???? Well... you'll just have to wait and see!

Bella's Birthday Bash!

On September 20th I had a get together with some of my friends to celebrate Bella's birthday. Bella is one of the main characters in Twilight. We had a really great time! Everyone met at my Mom's place and we had a pot luck which meant LOTS of food. I am so bummed I didn't think to take pictures of the decorations because I was quite proud of myself. I wanted the decorations to be similar to the birthday party that Alice gives Bella in the book New Moon. I had pink and white decorations, candles, pink roses, and even rose petals spread around on the counter and leading up the walkway into the house. I wrapped all the prizes in silver paper and even had some balloons with the weights being apples. We played fun games, including pin the tie on Edward! Thanks Espe for all you did to make the games fun! My friend Mary brought her gorgeous jewelry she makes for guests to look at, and the favor for coming was a CD I burned for everyone of the Midnight Sun playlist. Fun was had by all I think :)
