Bed Time Reading

Jake snapped this picture of me reading to the girls before bed. I started reading Wings to them by Aprilynn Pike. They love it so far :) We read one to two chapters a night. Usually they don't want me to stop!

Vacation

We decided to just do a staycation this year and took the kids to a resort in AZ that has their own waterpark. We were there for a few days and all had a lot of fun!

We met a swim instructor at the resort and he worked with Hannah a bit. It really helped and she is improving so much!

Meeting Aprilynne Pike

Aprilynne Pike wrote a book I love called 'Wings'. After I read the book I looked to see if she had a website so I could find out if there was going to be a sequel and to just get more information in general. I saw she was on Facebook and friended her and we talked back and forth a couple times. I saw she was going to be at FiestaCon and asked her about meeting up to get my book signed and to meet her in person. My friend Espe came with me and after Aprilynne signed our books we hung out in the hotel lobby for a couple hours and chatted. It was really nice getting to know her better! I hope to hang out with her again some time soon! If you haven't read her book yet, pick it up! Disney just bought the movie rights! Very exciting!

We went swimming at my Mom's house and I bought the girls new goggles. Grace calls hers "gobbles" which I make her repeat frequently because I love it!

Doc Deb's Birthday

My friend Debbie had a birthday celebration at her house! We all had a fun time like we always do when we are together! She shares a birthday with Edward Cullen so of course he was included in the celebration as well! I didn't take as many pictures as I thought but here are the ones I took...
